Fred hatte ja mal eine Diskussion um einen guten Texteditor angestoßen. War eine gute Idee, da ich seit dem, den fast perfekten ConTEXT benutze.

Wie sieht es denn bei den Videoplayern aus. Ich benutze seit neuesten den "Global DivX Player 1.9.9.2". Der spielt auch die DivX Codecs, die mein Media Player nicht wollte und nur mit dem DivX Player liefen. Der allerdings mochte keine MPEGs und VCDs, … welche der GDivX hingegen mag. Eine schöne Playlist hat er auch, kann WinAmp Skins nutzen und hat ansonsten auch alles was ich brauch. Verdammt schnell laden tut er auch. Nur zeichnet der Player das Bild leider im Vollbildmodus nicht weich und das sieht doch recht hässlich aus. Was nutzt Ihr denn so? Gibt es auch Player, die zusätzlich noch QT, MOVS und RealPlayer abspielen oder stellen sich Apple und WhoEver da quer?

P.S. Hat wer mal den Meltdown Player versucht?

Selbst ist der Mann. Ich habe nun alle relevanten Player von http://www.softlandmark.com/VideoPlayers.htm durchprobiert. Das war vielleicht ein Gruselkabinett. Viele Player stürzen einfach ab, wenn der Codec nicht da ist, haben ne selten komische Benutzerführung, unsinnige Skins und sowieso immer irgendwo ein Mangel. Am Besten war der HPlayer (Hyperplayer oder so), der wegen dem ganzen bunten Schnickschnack es auf meinem 1800XP, 512MB 333DDR bei 50 MB Avis durch die Gegend ruckelte. Argh. Oder Shareware Player die mieser waren als der ganze Rest. Aber ein echter Hammer war dabei, bin wild begeister!

Und zwar ist es der AllPlayer 1.7. Ich hake lieber mal kurz die Mängel ab, das geht schneller. *g* QT Movies mag er nicht, wie es mit RealPlayer Files ist, habe ich leider noch nicht getestet. Bei MOV-Dateien, die sich automatisch im Fullscreen mit Menü aufbauen, meint er, dass ein Codec fehlt. Ansonsten machte er aber alles mit, auch Exoten wie m2v Files. Er läuft schön Stabil, ist schnell, zeichnet sauber. Die Benutzerführung ist inuitiv, der Skin haut einen nicht um, aber ist durchaus okay. Playlist etc… ist auch drin. Die Optionen sind sehr umfangreich. Freie Tastenbelegung, etc… Und natürlich richtig Freeware. (Ach so, kommt aus Polen und dies und das (nichts schlimmes) wurde nicht übersetzt. *g*)

Selbst das gute GSpot (2.0) behauptete, dass der Audio-Codec nicht installiert sei und tatsächlich wollte kein Player den Ton wiedergeben. ALLPlayer macht das. *freu*

P.S. Und ich habe gelogen. Das Ding spielt doch QT Files.

Um genau zu sein: ASF, AVI, MPEG, MPE, MPG, MOV, WMV, DAT, DIVX, IFO, M2V, OGM, VOB, QT, ASX, M2P, WAV, MPA, MP3, MID, WMA, OGG und CDA. Und da ist noch so ein Button "Add new" *g*

Condemned fast load does it also. The Player does not only draw the picture unfortunately in the frame mode softly and looks nevertheless quite ugly. What uses it in such a way? Yeah, I also use Xine, it's quite nice. Still I'd wish the new Winamp 2.9b was available for Linux, it has a nice list of features (and plays videos), and despite it's name was supposed to be converted to Linux if I remember correctly..
